    Baywatch Movie

There has been a lot of buzz around Priyanka Chopra’s Hollywood debut Baywatch, which is the film adaptation of the hit TV series Baywatch. However, Priyanka’s fans were surprised to not find her on the film’s first picture that was released last week.
Now, we have been told that this was strategic. The makers of the film, which also stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, plan to release a special poster for Priyanka, who plays the villain in the movie.

A source says, “The makers of the film have a promotional plan in mind. They want to launch her in a big way. The next picture will feature only Priyanka on it. As she plays the villain in the movie, the makers want to give her special attention.”

    Production Wraps on Baywatch

    Baywatch Movie

Physical production has now wrapped on next year’s Baywatch movie, that stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff.
Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon has been calling the shots on the film, and he now heads into the edit suite for a few months to get his final cut together, whilst the cast head off to other projects.
To salute the end filming on Baywatch, an official still from the film has just been released, and that’s the one that you can see at the top of the page there. Dwayne Johnson notes that they’ve had fun “pushing the rated R envelope on this one”. We shall see next year if he’s as good as his word.

Baywatch is due in cinemas in May 2017.

Pam Anderson will be Captain Parker

By admin, on May 17th, 2016, under Baywatch Movie, Pamela Anderson News

    Pamela Anderson News

There’s a reason it’s not called “Brainwatch.” Producers on the new “Baywatch” film may have caused some confusion by giving characters played by Kelly Rohrbach and Pamela Anderson more or less the same name.

Although this time around, Anderson’s got a promotion. “I actually play Captain Parker, she is CJ Parker,” she told us at the World Values Network’s fourth annual Champions of Jewish Values in Midtown.

“They still gave me my name and there’s actually a funny scene where (Rohrbach) goes, ‘Hey, that’s my name!’ But yeah, I think they realized when they brought me on they couldn’t give me another name. So I’m Captain Parker in the movie. It’s kind of a spoofy thing. I haven’t read the rest of the script.”

Anderson, an active animal rights advocate and devout vegan, said that teenage sons Brandon and Dylan deviate from the script when it comes to eating like their mom.

“I think I’m a good mom, but my sons are running around eating fried chicken in front of me just to make me crazy!” she said. She shares the two boys with her former husband, rock star Tommy Lee.

“It’s almost out of spite because they have gone through periods where they have been vegan and vegetarian and then they go through these periods where they are taunting me and teasing me,” she said.

But Anderson takes it all in stride.

“I think a lot of it has to do with testing the waters, you know, like what teenage boys do. I didn’t raise them that way and I felt like if I’m just a role model, that’s what they would choose and be vegan or vegetarian.”

According to the 48-year-old bombshell, her boys have a long-term plan to improve their diets.

“They do say, ‘We’ll be vegetarian when we are older,’ like it’s going to be a career,’” she said skeptically. “Their father ate meat, but it’s up to them.”

First Photos of Kelly Rohrbach as CJ

ACTRESS Kelly Rohrbach stunned as she donned an updated version of the iconic red swimsuit for the hotly anticipated Baywatch film.

The 26-year-old will play lifeguard C.J. Parker, a role made famous by Pamela Anderson in the 1990s TV show original on which the reboot is based.

Toned Kelly proved her C.J. had every inch as much sex appeal as Pammie as she strutted around in the zipped-up one-piece on set at Boca Raton beach in Florida.

Wearing her long blonde hair loose in beachy waves, the sun-kissed star’s make-up was kept to a minimum.

Due for release on May 19, 2017, the film will also feature High School Musical favourite Zac Efron, 28, as Matt Brody.

Meanwhile, 43-year-old Dwayne Johnson, aka wrestler The Rock, will play Mitch Buchannon, a role once played by David Hasslehoff.

It was confirmed yesterday that The Hoff will make a cameo in the film.

In a video posted by The Rock on Facebook, he is seen making a FaceTime call to the 63-year-old.

The Hoff announces he “was born ready” for his return to Baywatch, with The Rock declaring, “There ain’t no Bay, without The Hoff”.

Actresses Alexandra Daddario, Ilfenesh Hadera and Priyanka Chopra will also star.

The Baywatch TV series ran for 11 seasons from 1999-2001.

It centred around the work and lives of fictional lifeguards in California.

    Pam unsure about Baywatch Movie

By admin, on March 4th, 2016, under Baywatch Movie, Pamela Anderson News

    Pamela Anderson News

The 48-year-old actress starred in the original TV series as blonde bombshell lifeguard C.J. Parker and her character is being portrayed by Kelly Rohrbach in the big screen remake.

Pamela has been offered a role in the movie but she’s nervous about appearing for just for nostalgia value, even though original Mitch Buchannon David Hasselhoff is going to appear alongside his replacement Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

Speaking to the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, she said: ”Well, they called me and asked me to be in it, but I haven’t decided yet. I don’t know. I don’t like remakes of TV shows and I kind of want to leave it as is and be remembered for that. I don’t know if I want to go on ‘Baywatch’ and be, like, the old lady working at a counter somewhere.”

Pamela starred on the TV series – which became a worldwide phenomenon – for five seasons between 1992 and 1997.

The Playboy cover star has surprisingly revealed she never wore sunscreen when shooting on location on the beach in Santa Monica, California because she didn’t want the chemicals from the UV protective lotion going into the sea.

She said: ”I never wore sunblock, I didn’t really believe in it. I always felt that it was chemicals going into your skin and particles that go into the ocean. People always tell me, ‘You have to wear sunblock all over your face,’ so I have a natural sunblock that I use sometimes, but I’m just gonna go with it and see what age does to me because I need to be in the sun. The first season, they didn’t want me to wear makeup, they wanted me to be very natural. I said OK, but then I would go to Lexi’s [makeup artist Alexis Vogel] at three in the morning and she would put eyelashes and liner on me and we just created that look, then I would show up, and they’d go, ‘You’re already wearing makeup!’ And I’d say, ‘No I’m not!’ But then I’d get hit by a wave and my eyelashes would fall off and my makeup artist there would come up and go, ‘This is all that’s left of Pamela, I hope you’re happy – two little soaking wet eyelashes.’ But most of the time it would stay on.”

    Priyanka Chopra starts filming Baywatch

    Baywatch Movie

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has begun shooting for her debut Hollywood film “Baywatch” in Miami.

The 33-year-old actress, who made her international debut last year with thriller TV series “Quantico,” took to Twitter to share a picture of a beach bucket filled with Baywatch goodies.

“Everything you need on a beach… And day 1 on set! Amazing! Everyone is so great! Yay team #Baywatch,” she captioned the picture.

Priyanka made a stunning Oscar debut yesterday, where she also presented the best editing award to “Mad Max: Fury Road”.

She attended the awards after party wearing a silver gown and immediately left for the airport to catch a flight to Miami.

“Baywatch” revolves around the leader of an elite group of lifeguards (Dwayne Johnson), who is forced to team up with a young, hotshot former Olympian (Zac Efron) to save their beloved bay.

Priyanka plays villainous Victoria Deeds. The film is scheduled to release on May 19, 2017.

    David Hasselhoff Joins Baywatch Movie

    David Hasselhoff News

David Hasselhoff has confirmed he will be part of the film based on the 1990s Baywatch series that made him a star.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who is playing Hasselhoff’s original character Mitch Buchannon, revealed the surprise on his social media accounts, but it is not clear what role The Hoff will play.

He posted a video of himself on Instagram and Facebook facetiming with his future co-star.

During the conversation, Johnson tells Hasselhoff: “I don’t know if the world is ready for both of us. Are you ready?”

“C’mon man, Rock and The Hoff, I was born ready!” Hasselhoff answers.

“There ain’t no ‘Bay’ without The Hoff,” Johnson exclaims. “Baywatch. Get ready, world.”

Filming of the movie is under way in Boca Raton, Florida, with stars including Zac Efron, model Kelly Rohrbach and Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra already signed up.

Johnson wrote under the video of his chat with Hasselhoff: “Baywatch is the most successful TV show of all time and, from the day we announced we were turning it into a movie, The Hoff has been our greatest supporter – especially once he knew our Rated R movie was going to be a combination of Avengers meets Anchorman.

“Hoff’s a cool dude who’s down to have fun and here’s the best part: he’s been training his a** off and gotten in the best shape he’s been in in years.”

Hasselhoff retweeted a link to Johnson’s announcement on his Twitter page.

The show about lifeguards in Los Angeles ran for 242 episodes between 1989 and 2001 and became known for its slow-motion shots of the cast running around the beach wearing red swimwear.

The film is due for release in the US in May next year.
