    New Aquaman is Jason Momoa

    Jason Momoa

Hawaiian-born actor Jason Momoa will play Aquaman in Zack Syder’s highly anticipated Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, starring Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman. Getting into a swimsuit won’t be a bother for Momoa. His first acting job was on the set of the TV series Baywatch (1989).

Since then Momoa’s starred in a number of TV series including Stargate: Atlantis (2004) and the HBO hit Game of Thrones (2011) as “Khal Drogo.” Batman v Superman won’t be his first film. He had the chance to work with one of his idols, Sylvester Stallone, in Bullet to the Head. Momoa said of the experience: “Fighting Rocky with an axe. I can’t think of anything cooler.” Now Momoa will get the chance to fight villains with marine life. In the DC Cinematic Universe, that’s cooler.
