Bad Boyz

Leigh gets jealous when Sean becomes attracted to a new team sponsor.

During a helicopter training session, both Zack and Carrie fail important tests: an athlete recovering from knee surgery ignores warnings from Jason to not go kite boarding. He runs into a wind surfer and goes down, crashing into a buoy. Jason calls Leigh in the helicopter for back up. Seeing the man in the water and knowing there is no time to waste, Zack immediately jumps in, even though the helicopter is too high and the dive is dangerous. He manages to get hold of the man. Carrie, for her part, freezes and is unable to jump. Sean is apoplectic that his team should be having such trouble following instructions, but he has bigger problems. Jenna, still smarting from their break up and vowing for revenge, has started showing the training center to two men and a realtor who plan to convert it into a lobster restaurant owing to Sean’s non-payment of property taxes.

Still, the center is in trouble. Leigh wants to help, but Sean insists he can take care of matters himself. Seeing that Sean will not give her a chance to help, Leigh “take the bull by the horns” and shows up at a convention for entrepreneurs at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. By the afternoon, she has found a sponsor and gleefully informs Sean that they will be having dinner with her that evening. Sean tries to beg off since he’s not good at the business side of things, but Leigh insists.

She quickly lives to regret it. The potential sponsor, ERIKA, is immediately attracted to Sean. He doesn’t even realize how much she is flirting with him. But Leigh does. She tries to keep a good face on it for a while, but after she realizes that Sean is actually starting to undermine her plans, she storms off. Sean chases after her, apologizing to Erika for having to leave so quickly. The next morning, Jenna shows up, still alight with victory. Sean confronts her about her vendetta, saying he knows its personal. She agrees, and once again tries to restart the flame between them, but Sean isn’t buying. Jenna will not be ignored!

Later, Erika shows up at the training center, still planning on her sponsorship. Sean agrees to meet her that evening.

When Carrie gets home, she find Zack in her bedroom, lying on her bed. She throws him out. The next day, during a training exercise where she needs to jump off the scarab, Carrie once again hesitates. This time, Zack grabs her and jumps into the water with her.

Jason and Zack decide to play a little hooky by going barefoot water skiing with the scarab. Unfortunately, the gas gauge is broken and they find themselves out of gas. Just then, a boat with the two guys who wanted to buy the training center for a restaurant show up, a little worse the wear for drinking. They ignore Jason and Zack’s pleas to take it slower and wind up flipping their boat. Jason and Zack manage to save them, only to learn the realtor is still on the upside down boat. Jason and Zack save her and manage to get back to shore.

Sean and Erika return to her hotel room for a night of passion. But, in the middle of their embrace, Sean suddenly gets cold feet. He knows how this will look and doesn’t want the team to appear compromised in any form. Erika is at first hurt and rejected, but Sean calms her down. She admits her past two boyfriends have both been impotent and she feels it’s something she’s doing. While he’s with her, he gets the news of what hap-pened. He rushes back to the center where Leigh, seeing his disheveled state, assumes the worst.

The next day, Carrie goes for her helicopter jump and executes it perfectly. She then calmly announces to Leigh that she is moving into her spare room! Back at the training center, Sean tries again to explain what happened to Leigh. He continues by telling her he understands he needs help, and would like for her to handle some of their business af-fairs. Leigh, feeling needed, beams with happiness.
