Jaason Matthew Simmons was born on July 12, 1970 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. He began his acting career in 1993 with a role on the short-lived Australian series “Paradise Beach”.
Simmons’ big break came in 1994 when he was cast as Logan Fowler on the hit TV series “Baywatch”. He played this role for 48 episodes from 1994 to 1997, which brought him international recognition. “Baywatch” was viewed by an estimated billion people across 142 countries during its run.
After leaving “Baywatch” in 1997, Simmons appeared in several independent films and theater productions. Some of his notable film roles include:

- “Frankenstein Reborn!” (1998) as Victor
