Nicole was born to Rolf Eggert, a German-born executive of a canning company, and Gina, a British-born talent agent. Her acting career began at a very young age, with her mother entering her into the Miss Universe beauty contest’s petites division when she was just 5 years old. After winning first place, Eggert started appearing in television commercials, including spots for Johnson’s Baby Shampoo.

Rise to Fame:
Eggert’s first substantial role came in 1979 at age 7 in the made-for-TV movie “When She was Bad…” She then landed recurring roles on several TV shows:

  1. “T.J. Hooker” (1982) – She played William Shatner’s daughter at age 10.
