Season Overview:
Baywatch Hawaii Season 2, which aired in 2000-2001, this was the final season of the original Baywatch series.
This season saw a wave of departures and arrivals once again at Baywatch. Not returning for S11 were: David Hasselhoff, Brooke Burns, Brandy Ledford & Simone Jade Mackinonn.
Jason Brooks, Michael Bergin and Stacy Komano were joined by Krista Allen (S10 guest star), Brande Roderick, Charlie Brumbly and Alicia Rickter.
The show once again had a “rebrand”, the instrumental Hawaiian version of “I’m Always Here” was replaced by Fijis “Be the One”. Less focus was put on Hawaiian culture this year and more of a lens on the personal relationships of the lifeguards.
Escalating production costs, coupled with poor ratings caused Pearson Television North America to say it was time for Baywatch to end. Pearson President Brian Harris told Variety that the economics associated with bringing the program back could not be justified, with Baywatch reaching almost $1Million an episode to made.

Sean, Zack, and Jason enter the Eco Challenge and are teamed with a blind reporter who turns out to be a great athelete rather than a weak link. Meanwhile, Leigh spends a day guarding the beach with Jenna, and the two of them become friends or perhaps more.. |

Sean must decide if he will go to Australia or stay with Baywatch-a decision complicated by his feelings for Leigh, who has agreed to marry Sam. |
