When the FBI attempts to capture a notorious underworld figure, Mitch is forced to work with an ungrateful FBI agent posing as a lifeguard, which causes problems for both Mitch and Baywatch. Meanwhile, a Dutch woman whom Matt rescued is determined to repay him by serving his every need, causing CJ problems.
Every morning at ten and every afternoon at five, a woman whom Mitch has dubbed “The Mermaid” takes a twenty minute swim in the ocean. It turns out that “The Mermaid” is actually Tanya Harpster, the girlfriend
of notorious crime boss Sonny Scanlon. The FBI wants to tail Tanya in order to capture Scanlon before he leaves thecountry, and to do this, they have sent Agent Morgan Christopher to Baywatch to pose as a lifeguard. Morgan turns out to be an FBI agent of the worst sort. Ungrateful and hard-headed, she looks down on lifeguarding with disdain. She sees Mitch’s lifeguarding career as motivated purely by the desire to get a tan and “pick up babes.” Mitch, whose commitment to saving lives is all-encompassing, is offended by Morgan’s attitude, and is determined to prove her wrong.
Meanwhile, Matt has his hands full with a Dutch tourist, Greta.
