Second Time Around

On a routine patrol that finds a small production company filming a series of
commercials, Matt is surprised to run in Jesse Majors, the glamorous you mysterious biker with whom he fell in love after a daring motorcycle race in “Point Doom.” Matt’s attraction for Jesse has not diminished, yet his newfound relationship with Summer complicates the situation. When Jesse reveals to
Matt that the director of the video, Victor Griswold, is obsessed with having a relationship with her, he agrees to Jesse’s suggestion that the two of them pretend they are engaged. Summer comes upon Matt, Jesse, and the abusive director and can’t believe her eyes when Matt and Jesse kiss in front of her.
Matt’s explanation does little to cool her anger, which is reignited when Summer comes to Matt’s apartment and finds Jesse wrapped in a negligee.


Meanwhile, Matt who has traded in his motorcycle for a ten speed, heads to Point Dume road for a mind-clearing ride. Suddenly, a helmeted motorcycle rider clad in black appears behind Matt and runs him off the road. Matt barely escapes certain death on the jagged rocks below by clinging to a branch and pulling himself to safety. Later, he returns to Baywatch and confides to Mitch
his suspicion that Victor Griswold was the biker. However, unable to identify any distinguishing characteristics, Matt’s suspicions remain simply that– suspicions.

Summer and Jesse, meanwhile, get to know one another and Summer learns that Jesse now only looks on Matt as a friend and as a possible short-term escape from the obsessive Victor Griswold. Griswold, however, has plans of his own, and after failing to eliminate Matt, he turns his deadly attentions to Jesse and Summer. The women escape to nearby wave runners, and in a thrilling conclusion, Matt, Summer, and Victor are locked in a high-speed wave runner race.
