When a brilliant master of disguises escapes from a mental hospital to seek revenge on Stephanie and Logan, the Baywatch lifeguards find themselves powerless to stop him, until help arrives in the form of angels… Charlie’s Angels.
Logan is on his way to meet a “friend of a friend” at his lifeguard tower. He runs into Stephanie, Caroline and CJ reminiscing about Charlie’s Angels, the roles that made Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith famous. When Logan arrives at the tower, no one is there, but the phone is ringing. Answering it, Logan hears voices of characters from movies and TV shows, all threatening him in one way or another. It’s Jack Ripley, a psychopath with multiple personalities seeking revenge on Logan and the lifeguards. As Logan attempts to reason with him, a jolt of electricity comes through the line and shocks Logan. Then, the tower catches on fire! Logan manages to escape as the tower goes up in a ball of flame.
Stephanie discovers that the person responsible for the destruction of Logan’s tower, Jack Ripley, is the same man that held Logan and Caroline hostage in their tower over two years ago. Ripley has escaped from a mental institution and is determined to make the lifeguards pay for putting him there. Upon hearing this news, Caroline, Stephanie and CJ can’t help but wonder what Charlie’s Angels would do in this situation. We dissolve into an outrageous show-within-a-show where Stephanie, Caroline and CJ, play the Angels, taking us on a fun, fantasy romp through 70’s television. Using polyester outfits and tousled hair to their fullest advantage, the “Baywatch Angels” successfully nab the elusive Ripley. However, the threat to Logan is real, and it is up to the real-life lifeguards, and not their fantasy Angels counterparts, to find a way to save Logan and really capture Jack Ripley.
