Logan borrows Cody’s car without permission, and when Logan is involved in a hit-and-run accident, Cody is fingered as the main suspect. Stephanie and Mitch decide to settle some grudges by having a paintball war on the beach, and CJ bef riends a lost sea lion.
Logan, still pursuing his business venture of Aussie swimwear fashions, has an important meeting with a major clothing manufacturer but has no way to get there. Logan asks everyone at Baywatch whether he can borrrow their car, but they all decline. Since Cody is working a 24-hour shift, Logan decides to “borrow” his car keys from his locker and take Cody’s car without his knowledge. Unfortunately, on the way back, Logan gets involved in an collision, which injures a pregnant woman. Logan quickly performs CPR as the police arrive. Not wanting to admit he was the driver, Logan claims to have just happened on the scene and gives the police officer a fake description of the hit and run driver.
The next morning, the police arrive at headquarters in order to take Cody down to the station for questioning. Now, it’s up to Logan to decide whether to admit he took Cody’s car or to keep quiet about it, protecting his already-tarnished r eputation. However, that choice may already be made for him when Caroline discovers one of Logan’s leather bracelets in Cody’s car.
Meanwhile, Mitch and Stephanie are at odds over the number of hours that have been assigned to Mitch. Stephanie has ignored Mitch’s seniority and given open hours to Cody, because of Mitch’s unavailablity due to his moonlighting as a P.I. When they can’t agree on a solution, Hobie suggests they settle their argument by staging a paintball war on the beach. Mitch and Stephanie relish the opportunity to finally settle the score with each other.
In the midst of all this, CJ discovers a lost sea lion on the beach. Feeling sympathetic, CJ decides to care for it herself. When the sea lion wreaks havoc at headquarters, CJ takes him home and keeps him in the bathtub. However, if CJ doesn’t find the sea lion’s owner fast, she may destroy her relationship with Caroline and Stephanie who share the apartment with her, and don’t want another roommate–especially one with flippers.
