Neely Capshaw–who falsely accused Matt Brody of sexual harassment–returns to Baywatch, causing turmoil with CJ and the Baywatch lifeguards, while Stephanie recruits Olympic swimming hopeful Cody Madison as a lifeguard. Later, when an errant mine collides with an offshore oil rig, it collapses and sinks, trapping Cody, Neely and four others in a watery tomb.
Major changes are brewing at Baywatch. Mitch loves lifeguarding, b ut decides that private investigation might be the second career he has been looking for. Logan, on the other hand, has designed a line of Aussie beachwear. He seduces the daughter of a wealthy financial backer in order to get an investor. If Caroline finds out, it could spell the end of their relationship.
Neely Capshaw, who falsely accused Matt Brody of sexual harassment, has dropped her lawsuit in exchange for her old job at Baywatch. Matt, embarrassed by the publicity surrounding Neel y’s false accusation, has gone back to France, maybe for good. CJ won’t be in the same room with Neely, much less work alongside her.
Cody Madison is the newest lifeguard to join the Baywatch team. A gifted swimmer whose parents died in the midwest floods of 1994, Cody wants to be part of the 1996 Olympic swim team, but has lost his motivation in the wake of his parents’ deaths. Stephanie takes him under her wing, and seeks to become his swim coach. She and Cody go out with an oil company representative to investigate a condemned offshore oil platform thats base may be converted into an artificial reef. But when the oil rig is hit by an errant mine, Cody, Neely, and four others are trapped inside. Now, both time and air are running out.
