New Baywatch lifeguards Cody Madison and Neely Capshaw face the biggest challenge of their lives when they are trapped underwater with four others inside an offshore oil platform that has collapsed. Now, they must use their wits and training to keep everyone alive while Mitch, Stephanie, Caroline, Logan and the rest of the Baywatch team attempt to rescue them.
Cody Madison came to California to pursue his dream as a swimmer in the 1996 Olympic games. What he didn’t expect was to find himself trapped under water in an old offshore oil rig along with Neely Capshaw, the lifeguard whose false accusa tion of sexual harassment caused Matt to resign and move back to France.
Now Cody and Neely must work together to keep the four others trapped inside alive until the Baywatch lifeguards can rescue them.
Mitch, Logan, Stephanie, Caroline, and the rest of the Baywatch team raise the platform with a hoist from a Coast Guard vessel, allowing divers to enter the platform without flooding the rooms where the victims are trapped. One of the victi ms, Larry, has been seriously injured and cannot swim from room to room to keep ahead of the rising water. But the weight of the platform combined with the weight of the incoming water is too heavy for the hoist, and it breaks–trapping Mitch, Stephanie and Logan inside as well. The rescue effort, inside and out, builds to a dramatic climax.
