Logan finds an abandoned baby in his tower and discovers the joy of fatherhood, much to everyone’s surprise at Baywatch. Meanwhile, Cody faces the biggest challenge of his life when he participates in the Olympic swimming trials.
Things are not going well for Logan at all. Caroline has returned his engagement ring, finally ending their relationship for good. Then Logan is caught in his tower with a girl he met on the beach earlier that day, which prompts Mitch to t hreaten him with suspension. And if that isn’t bad enough, Logan finds a baby in his tower, along with one of the many rings he has given women he has been involved with. Could this baby be his son?
Though Logan makes up a story that the baby was left for him to watch by a woman on the beach, he is pretty much convinced that the baby is his. When Caroline finds out, she is crushed by the reality of Logan’s betrayal of their relationshi p, but starts to warm up to him again when she sees how caring a father he is. Logan starts taking a much more concerned, fatherly approach to even other children on the beach, which surprises and impresses the other Baywatch lifeguards. However, when n ews reports start airing about a missing baby in Santa Monica, Logan realizes that his “son” may not be his after all. Unfortunately, the two have grown attached, and now Logan has to make a gut-wrenching decision whether to give up the baby or not.
After several months of training under Stephanie, Cody is finally heading to the Olympic swimming trials. Though skilled and ready for competition, Cody is nervous due to not making the Olympic team the last time. As a result, Cody false s tarts at the beginning of his race. One more time, and he will be disqualified. Cody must now reach deep within himself to find the courage to overcome his fear, or his dream of an Olympic gold medal will be shattered.
