Matt’s tempestuous affair with a gorgeous motorcycle racer takes him to the brink, while Mitch and Stephanie go head-to-head in a spirited battle of the sexes.
When Stephanie challenges Mitch’s position as the Baywatch representative to the annual Lifeguard Games, she is bucking tradition and Mitch’s ego. Eager to pay Mitch back for al the practical jokes he’s pulled, Stephanie convinces Garner to help her get Mitch in a way he’ll never forget.
While driving his motorcycle on the cliffs above Malibu, Matt is passed up by a streak of black on a bullet bike. He follows as the mystery rider, with flowing blonde hair and a knockout body, races down Point Dume road. When Matt tries to catch up, she leaves him in the dust, and he’s left to wonder who she is and where she came from.
His questions are answered when the mystery rider, Jessie, shows up in a drop-dead bikini to catch some rays by Matt’s tower. Matt introduces himself, and the motorcycle lovers embark on a whirlwind romance, culminating in a night of passion on a moonlit beach. But Jessie is in town to race motorcycles, and she challenges local hotshot, Hudson, to a race for pink slips on Point Dume road. He readily accepts, and the race is on. When Hudson loses the lead, he resorts to foul play, and Jessie and her bike fly off the road into the ocean below. Mitch and Stephanie, training nearby, come to the rescue, and Jessie is hospitalized in a coma. Matt suspects Hudson sabotaged Jessie’s bike, and he sets out to avenge her injuries, leading to a climactic, death- defying motorcycle race along the cliffs overlooking the ocean, in which one of them may not survive.
