Mitch and Stephanie cope with an odd assembly of UFO enthusiasts camping on the beach in anticipation of an extra-terrestrial visit.
Slade and Summer become the unknowing targets of ruthless jewel thieves.
Baywatch is in turmoil when a group of UFO enthusiasts, led by the intelligent and beautiful Dr. Faye Taylor, set up equipment on the beach in expectation of a visit from extra-terrestrials rising from the sea. Although the group has all the correct permits, and CJ and Hobie have become “believers,” Mitch and Stephanie are concerned for evervone’s safety.
Their worst fears are realized when an overzealous UFO observer, Quinton, mistakes a fluctuation in the water as the “visitors”‘ arrival, and dashes out to greet them. Afull-scale rescue by the Baywatch crew is required to save many lives. Finally, Mitch and Stephanie’s skepticism is waylaid by a blinding light and the disappearance of Dr. Taylor, who, only moments before, was standing with Mitch.
While the Baywatch crew deals with visitors from beyond, Slade returns from a South African surfing tournament as an unknowing carrier of stolen diamonds hidden in one of his three surfboards. Ruthless jewel thieves, Lila and Dirk, hid the diamonds in the surfboard to avoid customs, but have a difficult time retrieving it as they steal the wrong board from Slade. When they realize that Summer has the surfboard containing the diamonds, Lila will resist to anything – including murder – to retrieve it. Glad and Matt race to save Summers life.
