While on vacation cruise, the Baywatch lifeguards encounter high-seas hijackers, leaving Mitch and Stephanie stranded in the stormy pacific, and Summer, Mat, CJ and Guido faced with outwitting ruthless killers who have overtaken the ship.
Left stranded in the icy waters of the Pacific by fugitive Nicholas Rogo, Mitch and Stephanie cling to one another and their life-ring through a stormy night. When morning breaks, they find themselves fighting off man-eating sharks as they swim desperately toward a small island. Once on land, however, Stephanie is still in jeopardy from loss of blood and severe hypothermia. Mitch desperately tries to warm her with a small fire, but Stephanie slips into shock, her life in the balance.
Totally unaware of Mitch and Stephanie’s plight, CJ and Matt visit the casino, where Matt is surprised to learn that CJ is a blackjack expert. She wins $20,000 in one sitting, but once she gets started, she can’t pull herself away fromthetable. Bymorning,she’slosteverything,andowesthecasino$5000. CI’s compulsion to gamble is echoed by a rich widow’s desire for Guido. In a series of comedic scenes, she makes her lusty intentions known to the “Great Torzini,” who spends the better part of his cruise in flight from the porcine seductress.
By 10 AM, none of the Baywatch guards can find Mitch or Stephanie. When a manifest check reveals that they, as well as Karl, are unaccounted for, Captain Angstrom radios the Coast Guard and turns the ship around. Desperate to get to Mexico, Rogo and company storm the ship’s control center, holding the captain and his crew hostage, threatening to start shooting if the ship isn’t put back on course. The captain must comply, but a Coast Guard chopper is en route, ready to pick up the Baywatch team in order to help in the search for Mitch and Stephanie. Rogo devises a sinister plan to use the chopper for his own escape, and only quick-thinking and daring on the part of Matt, CJ, and Summer can foil his efforts and allow them to find Mitch and Stephanie.
