Reunion

Mitch attends his high school reunion, rekindling an old flame with ex-wife Gayle, while Eddie plays father for a day.
A normally serene beach turns into chaos when a two-ton bull goes on the rampage. It is the West Palisades High School mascot, and it’s been brought to the beach for the 20-year reunion of the class of 1972. Mitch knows about the renunion, but is unwilling to go, knowing that he will have to face his ex-wife Gayle, and the ensuing questions from others about their breakup. Meanwhile, Eddie discovers an abandoned baby under his tower with a note attached, imploring him to take care of the child for 24 hours. Eddie, uncomfortable
with the infant, attempts to pass it on, but the baby will only be quiet in his arms. Shauni finds his awkward tenderness hopelessly endearing and knows that Eddie will be a great father.
After subduing the beach bull, Mitch returns home to find Gayle with Hobie, preparing for the reunion. Hobie, anxious to get his parents back together again, is pleased when Gayle convinces Mitch to accompany her to the reunion
where Mitch and Gayle, strolling on the beach, reliving old memories and falling in love again, hear cries for help from the shoreline. Perennial high
school nerds, Max and Howie, have made good on a vow to get back at Veron, the class bully. But after burying him up to his neck in sand, the are at a loss to remove him once the tide comes in. Mitch’s ingenuity saves the day as he orchestrates Veron’s rescue.
Mitch and Gayle return home and spend a romantic evening together that is bittersweet in its finality. They affirm their love for one another but resolve to let each other go and get on with their lives.
Eddie is more than a little suspicious when a man appears the next day, claiming of be the child’s father. Suddenly the child’s mother, Elizabeth, runs in. She was forced to leave the baby under the tower in order to protect it from its brutal father. Eddie’s instincts were right, and the mother and child are reunited.
