Ex-con and martial arts master Mason Sato terrorizes Mitch, Kaye, and Hobie.
Five years ago, Mitch helped put martial-arts expert and drug lord Mason Sato in prison. Now Sato is free, and he begins a calculated reign of terror designed to provoke Mitch into a deadly hand-to-hand confrontation. Mitch wants nothing to do with him, but Sato follows Mitch everywhere. A fun outing to a restaurant with Kaye Morgan and Hobie is soured by the specter of Sato, who lurks at every corner. Not wanting to frighten Kaye and Hobie, Mitch silently endures the intimidation. But after his home is broken into, Mitch loses his cool. He decks Sato at the beach, and though he feels better, he leaves himself wide open to assault charges–charges which Sato promptly presses.
When Mitch is called in for questioning at police headquarters, Kaye and Hobie are left alone. Sato kidnaps them, and Mitch returns from questioning to find an ominous note warning him to come to an
abandoned waterfront warehouse.
When Mitch tries to free Kaye and Hobie, Sato appears armed with a lethal Samurai sword. Mitch is methodically pummeled by the cat-like Sato, until Mitch gets him on his own turf–the water.
